I stumbled into design by accident and fell in love with it immediately. Back in art school, I took a design class, thinking it was all scissors and scanners (seriously). But one thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was geeking out over composition, typography, and all the awesome design elements I could use in my work.

I love the challenge of taking complex ideas and transforming them into creative solutions. My approach to any project is super collaborative. Digging deep in the discovery phase to really get to know my clients, their vision/vibe, and also who their audience is so fulfilling. My favorite part, is mood boarding, research, and mind mapping, where I can take an abstract idea and start to create a concept and direction for the project. Then, I jump into a shit load of sketching, getting all my ideas on paper, and refining those ideas, to create a final solution that feels awesome.

For me, design is a blend of intuition and strategy. It's not just about making something look great; it’s about creating something that actually resonates with people.

Design is pretty freaking awesome. It solves problems, tells stories, and in the end, helps people do rad things.
